A most elegant 25’ carvel planked oak vessel that is shown in a 1934 aerial photograph which we rescued from certain demolition one Friday night around 2004. An hilarious event, Adam jumped in the river and pulled her along supplementing punters on the Scarab itself and a rowed towing boat. Phil and I were kept busy bailing out with buckets.  Since then there have been loads of changes and she is now a river worthy boat.

In the summer of 2016 we set about providing rollocks for 6 oars, a small cabin in the bow, deckin and seating for the rowers, a tiller and seating round the stern.

We recently took her out on the river Adur, click here to see us row.
